Cathode Active Materials for Lithium-Ion Battery Research
Research-grade cathode (positive electrode) active materials for lithium-ion battery development. AIBS supplies battery-grade powders to Malaysian university battery research groups, MIMOS, and battery startup R&D teams working on electric vehicle, grid storage, and consumer electronics battery systems.
Available Cathode Materials
- NMC 111 / NMC 532 / NMC 622 / NMC 811: Nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide — high energy density, dominant for EV and portable electronics research
- LiFePO₄ (LFP): Lithium iron phosphate — long cycle life, thermally stable, preferred for energy storage and power tools
- LiCoO₂ (LCO): Standard lithium cobalt oxide for consumer electronics cell research
- LiNiCoAlO₂ (NCA): High capacity nickel-rich for demanding EV applications
- LiMn₂O₄ (LMO): Spinel manganese for high-rate and low-cost applications
- Sodium-Ion Cathodes: Prussian Blue analogues, layered oxides, NASICON-type (Na₃V₂(PO₄)₃)
Form & Packaging
- Form: Powder, D50 particle size per specification
