Single-crystal strontium titanate (SrTiO₃, STO) substrates for oxide thin-film epitaxy, high-Tc superconductor research (YBCO), complex oxide heterostructure physics, and perovskite solar cell research. STO’s perovskite crystal structure and close lattice match to YBCO, LSMO, and LAO make it the most widely used substrate in oxide electronics research.
