Ultra-thin open-cell nickel foam (as thin as 0.08 mm) used as a template for CVD graphene growth and as an ultra-lightweight electrode substrate for supercapacitors and thin-film batteries. The thin profile minimizes dead weight while maintaining full 3D porous connectivity.
