The EDQ254 is a millimetre-wave presence sensor with an RS-485 output. It is easy to connect to building management systems, PLCs and gateways that read RS-485 data.

How it works
The sensor uses 24 GHz millimetre-wave radar, so it detects people who are sitting still as well as people who are moving, and it keeps lights or air-conditioning on while the room is occupied. Delay time and range are adjustable to suit the room.
