Open-cell titanium foam offers outstanding resistance to both acidic and alkaline environments (HCl, H₂SO₄, NaOH, KOH), extreme temperatures, and seawater corrosion. These properties make it suitable for chemical processing catalyst supports, biomedical implants, and offshore engineering applications beyond standard electrolyzer use.
