3D Graphene Foam Network EMI Shielding

3D Graphene Network Supercapacitor Foam

Description

Description

3D Graphene Foam — Supercapacitor & EMI Shielding Research

Free-standing 3D graphene foam synthesized by CVD on a nickel template (nickel subsequently etched away). The result is a lightweight, highly conductive, flexible graphene network with specific surface area ~850 m²/g — ideal for supercapacitor electrodes, EMI shielding composites, strain sensors, and thermal interface materials.

Key Specifications

  • Electrical conductivity: ~10³ S/m
  • BET surface area: 700 – 1000 m²/g
  • Thickness: 0.5 mm – 5 mm
  • Density: ~5 mg/cm³ (ultra-lightweight)
  • Flexibility: Highly flexible, can be compressed and recover

Applications

  • Supercapacitor and pseudocapacitor electrodes
  • EMI shielding composites
  • Piezoresistive strain sensors
  • Thermal interface material
  • Flexible electronics substrate
